Lampeter Accessibility Campaign

Hi everyone! I am delighted to announce the launch of my accessibility campaign for the Lampeter campus. I have collaborated with Emily, our Disabled Students’ Part-time Officer for Lampeter Campus, to create a campaign that lets your voices be heard!

This campaign aims to identify the issues we face in Lampeter regarding the physical accessibility of the campus, from lecture room allocations, to sensory overload concerns such as heating and lighting, to parking! We aim to use this data to present a proposal to the university covering areas that must be addressed to improve the student experience in Lampeter.

We are running a two-week consultation period made up of three elements:

The first is a campus-wide survey that will be launching on the 30th of November and will be running for two weeks. The survey covers all elements of accessibility, but if we missed something…
In the second week of the survey (7th-14th December), we will be offering teams meeting consultations! This will be your opportunity to speak to us directly on issues we missed or that you want to discuss further!

Emily will be sharing resources to signpost you to different kinds of support available at the university and externally throughout our campaign.

We have worked incredibly hard with the university to cover all the bases, and we hope to see you get involved in improving our campus!
