Description

This Society is for UWTSD students who are interested in becoming Connectors; volunteers who will support the CONNECT wellbeing project.

CONNECT is a wellbeing project that aims to reduce loneliness and isolation amongst students. It is a partnership between: Swansea UniversitySwansea University Student’s UnionUniversity of Wales Trinity St DavidTrinity St David Student’s UnionGower CollegeNeath Port Talbot CollegeColeg Sir GârColeg Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire College.

Society members, or ‘Connectors’, tasks may include accompanying students to societies and events, using your own social media accounts to share positive messages and approaching potentially isolated students.

This society will work in partnership with Natalie Owens, who is the CONNECT project coordinator at University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Full training and support will be provided.
