Are you a member of one of our clubs and societies? - well have we got news for you! Committee Elections are open now, and it's your chance to pick the people who'll lead your group for the next academic year.

There are two stages to our elections; nominations - where people put themselves forward for a committee position, and voting - where members pick the leaders they want from a list of nominees.

Why are committee elections important? Every one of our groups is student-led - and leadership can make or break a group. That's why you want to pick passionate and enthusiastic people to pick up the mantle and lead your group to success in 2024/25. 

Dates and Times

Nominations open at 10:00 on Wednesday 3 April and close at 15:00 on Wednesday 10 April. 
Voting opens at 10:00 on Monday 15 April and closes at 15:00 on Thursday 18 April. 

Who can nominate and vote

You must be both a current group member and a current UWTSD student to nominate and vote - associate members cannot nominate or vote in Committee Elections.

How to nominate and vote

• To nominate, head to our website and sign in using your University email address.
• Using the drop-down menu with your name, select Account / Profile - once this loads, select My Nominations from the menu.
• Every election you are eligible to run in will appear.
