Skills Week is a week-long programme of workshops, talks and events focused on helping you develop your skills, get career-ready, and help you with the steps after university.
Skills Week is full of opportunities to expand and develop your existing skills and help you learn new ones. You can expect workshops on time management, how to get started and make the most of your LinkedIn profile, tips and tricks for leadership and teamwork, and how to ace a job interview. As a bonus, we also run free professional photography sessions - so you can get a top-quality profile picture.
Our Skills Week sessions are totally free and exclusive for UWTSD students - and the best is that they take place around your lectures.
Attend the sessions you want - you can come to just one, some, or all of our sessions. You do need to reserve your place by booking a ticket for the session you want to attend.

How much does it cost?
Skills Week sessions are free - you just need to confirm your place by booking a ticket
Do I need to attend the whole week?
You're free to choose the sessions you want to attend and pick the ones right for you! You can come to one, some, or all of them - it's up to you.
How do I sign up for an event?
Find a session you’re interested in from the events listed, tap on the event and then tap on the Book Now Button.
Who organises the events?
Skills Week is organised by the Students’ Union.
How do I attend an event?
Some events you can just turn to and others you'll need to book a ticket for - visit the event's webpage to see if you need to book a ticket.
