Running for Group President

My name is GIFTY OWUSU BIRAGO, and I am 20 years old. I come from Ghana in the west Africa, and I am aspiring for the student group president. Growing up as child I always had potentials of leading a team and a group of people just so to combine ideas and work with the authoroties just to make life comfortable for everyone. 

When I got the opportunities to come to university and I heard about the group president role i said to myself girl this is another opportunity for you ,as I let my student in the secondary school back in my country as the compound overseer. I thought this could be another opportunity for me. 

If am elected as the student group president I would make sure that I lead by example with integrity, compassion, and dedication. I will strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student would feel valued and respected. Communication is going to be a major priority for me as I am committed listening to the ideas and concerns of all students and foster open dialogue.
