Academic Quality Report 2025/26

It’s where we look into a specific aspect of student life at UWTSD and share our findings with the university.

The Academic Quality Report, also known as AQR, is a report that looks into a specific aspect of student life at UWTSD. We work with students to gather their feedback and insights, putting it into a report and presenting it to the university with a list of recommendations.

The theme of the report is chosen by your Presidents and based on student feedback. For the 2025/26 report, Gwyneira, Jen, and Rainna are focusing on ‘Academic Community’ at UWTSD

This is your day-to-day experience in the classroom at UWTSD. We want to know what your experiences are like, what your feelings are, what you enjoy, and what you’d like to see changed to make it the best it can be.

We’re gathering student feedback through our online student survey, and will be running in-person and on-campus focus groups. Your input is invaluable, it doesn’t matter what course you study, whether you’re part-time or full-time, on-campus or a distance learner - we want to hear from you.

We show our findings to the University - making recommendations based on your input, which we aim to ensure will positively impact your student experience whilst studying at UWTSD.

As a Sabbatical Officer team, we are a part of and represent a wide range of communities within the wider UWTSD family. In conversation with students, we want to recognise and explore further the significance of academic community as an integral part of the student experience at UWTSD.

Everyone who fills out the student survey proactively shapes their student experience, and those of future students, for the better. If you have any questions, drop us an email at union@uwtsd.ac.uk.
