What is Clearing?

Clearing is a process used by Universities to fill spaces they have left on courses.
It’s a great chance for students who haven’t found a place yet, or missed out on their required grades. The process begins from 30 June, and you can apply as soon as you have your results.

Starting the Process.

Things may seem a little daunting right now, but don’t stress.
The Clearing process is straight forward.

Applying through Clearing is done using UCAS Track;
you still input all your information, except at the end you don’t enter your course choices.

Once you’ve submitted your application you’ll then receive an email with your Clearing Number.
The email will also contain information on how to ask for advice, searching for vacancies and how to contract universities.

Finding a Course at UWTSD.

Clearing at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David has never been easier.
You can search for course information online at uwtsd.ac.uk/clearing
or by calling our Clearing hotline 0300 323 1828.

The Clearing Advisors will be there to answer any questions you have, and help go through your application,
making sure you know what you need to do, and whether you have a place.

If your application is successful and you will have a verbal offer from UWTSD,
you can add that course choice in UCAS Track.
