🏆 Let’s give it up for our CHAMPIONS! Our teams have absolutely smashed it this season and celebrations are in order. 
 
⚽️ Football has won their league, with 8 wins out of 9 games! There is also a massive congratulations to Nico Sofiu, Myles Perkins, and James Piggott for being in the top 5 players of the league on goals scored - the team have secured promotion for next season. 
 
🏉 The rugby team have also been smashing it in their league, winning 7 games out of 9 and with an incredible finish to their season by winning against RAU by 34 - 33 to take home the Conference Shield!  
 
And a shout-out to Cian Trevelyan and Luke Darnell for being the top 2 try scorers in the league, and Sam Potter for ranking 1st in conversions! 
 
But that’s not all 👀

The netball team who have been working incredibly hard and have played some amazing matches over this last season, winning some nail-biting games this season, their hard work and determination hasn’t gone unnoticed. 
 
We also want to give a shout-out to our students taking part in individual sports and their amazing efforts, with Deryn Allen-Dyer having her debut at BUCS Judo Championships and coming 4th in the Women's 2 Kyu & Below under 70kg!  
 
And Emily Thomas in the Long Jump, who had a huge achievement at the Indoor Athletics in Sheffield where she got a season’s best jump of 5.88m in the heats to qualify for the final!
