Siwmae Siwmae! Happy St. David’s day!

Sunday 01-03-2020 - 09:00

Today people of Wales will celebrate their patron Saint David, and the culture of Wales. You’ll see people wearing Daffodils or leeks and eating plenty of welsh dishes, from Cawl to welsh cakes (It is a feast day after all!)

For TSDSU it's the kick start to my Siwmae Siwmae Welsh language campaign - Keep your eyes peeled for plenty of opportunities to learn Welsh and how to promote the language.

If you speak Welsh, I encourage you to spend 5 minutes today teaching someone a few phrases.

If not, take some time to find out what opportunities there are for you on your campus- Check out Y Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, and find a course that fits your skill level!

Why not start with trying to pronounce some of these common words?
