Update for the Group President Role for 2026-27
Naeema Iqbal has chosen not to take up the position of Group President 26-27. We respect and recognise Naeema's decision and wish her the best in her future endeavours. We thank all of the students who voted in the recent election across all roles.
We are not able to hold an election during vacation/examination periods. Due to the time of year, no by-election will take place.
We are not able to appoint the runner-up in the election (please note: we have a consultation out now with students to see if they want this to change - take a look at this blog).
The post will be vacant for the 2026-2027 academic year. We are excited to be working with the 3 officers next year, from June 2026
