This year, as part of my manifesto, I have been working closely with the university to update the Zero Tolerance to Sexual Harassment and Bullying policy. I am pleased to say that this hard work has paid off, with the policy now officially updated and in place! This is available on the University website.

 

At the start of the academic year, along with our Part Time Officers and students we created a TSDSU Stands With You consent video to highlight the new policy and to spread the word that the SU is here to help.

As well as this, we have now created a place on the university and the SU website where you can report any and all harassment. You shouldn't have to ever feel unsafe, as part of encouraging the new Zero Tolerance policy for the university on Sexual Harassment and Bullying, this encourages students who may have felt too scared to come forward, to know they can do it online, confidentially and safe from judgement, (even anonymously).
