External Trustee

I’m Dan and I sit as an external trustee on the SU board with a specific focus on finance and audit matters. I’m married to Charlotte and have a 3-year-old daughter Elinor.

I started working for UWTSD in 2017 initially for the Estates team and now in the Finance department, working as a Finance Business Partner to the Estates and Digital Services teams. I also manage the University's Insurance and Utilities. I also sit on the University's Sustainability Steering Group, helping work towards its net-zero targets. I am also a member of the Governing Body of the Church In Wales and sit on their ‘Church Action for Sustaining the Environment’ Sub-committee.  

I grew up near Reading but moved to Aberystwyth in 2008 for university to study International Politics graduating in 2011, and in 2015 I achieved a Masters from Chester.
