Shwmae - I'm Lewis and it's my pleasure to be a trustee of UWTSD SU. I’m originally from the South Wales Valleys but moved to Bristol in 2022. I studied for a BSc (Hons) in Biology and an MA in Communication, Public Relations and Media Practice at Swansea University.

I currently work for an independent school in Bristol supporting communications since 2023. Before that I worked at Universities Wales as part of a Welsh Government-funded programme supporting Welsh universities with international partnerships and recruitment. I have also worked as Brand and Communications Manager for Swansea University Students’ Union.

I'm passionate about education and the power it has to change people's lives, particularly for people in Wales. I enjoy working within this sector and bring experience of engaging with a wide range of audiences to my role. Outside of work, I’m usually reading, with Stephen King being my favourite author.
