Sabbatical Trustee

I'm Jen and I'm the current Carmarthen Campus President. I have been a student with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David since January 2015 and am currently studying for an MA in

Medieval Studies. In my second year as an undergraduate at UWTSD I was the History and Medieval Studies course representative and in May 2023 I began as a volunteer intern in the RodericBowen Library and Archives and the Special Collections on the UWTSD Lampeter campus.

I enjoy singing, in particular Renaissance polyphony, and am a keen reader who enjoys the challenge of learning languages and writing systems. I volunteer with Girl Guiding Cymru in Ceredigion working with Brownies and Guides and am the leader for the 1st Lampeter Rangers. I am passionate about education, inclusion, and access to education and am Makaton trained. I am looking forward to advocating for and supporting students during my term and enhancing their experience of studying at UWTSD.
