The Students' Union is running a minibus from the Carmarthen train station up to campus from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th November, as the train arrives at 8:43am to get an idea of how many students struggle making the 8:50am bus from town up to campus for 9:00am lectures.
Each day during this period, we will have members of staff waiting to talk to students who arrive in on the 8:43 train, about the transportation barriers they face on their commute to University.
Our findings will be reported to the University, so we encourage students to make use of this service from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th November.
If you have any experiences you would like to share with us, please e-mail Bea at
b.fallon@uwtsd.ac.uk.
Note that the Students' Union does not have the resources to provide shuttles buses on a permanent basis.
