New vending machines have been installed by the University, located in the student kitchen in Louisa House. These vending machines are different from your traditional ones so your Group President, Taya Gibbons is here to show you how easy and convenient the new machines are!

 

 

Step 1:

Click the browse button to view the items and their prices.

 

Step 2:

Then click the "Tap" button which activates the card reader. Tap or insert your card on the reader and the machine will take a preauthorisation of £5 off your card. This is to check if you have the funds to purchase what you want. Don't worry! It will refund you the difference for your items.

 

Step 3:

When your card is accepted, the doors will unlock. You can then choose what items you'd like to purchase! The price of the item(s) you take will show up on the screen.

 

Step 4:

When you're happy with your purchase, you MUST shut the doors to lock the machine again. You card is then released from the machine. If you do not close the door properly, people can take items and your card will be charged.

 

Step 5:

Click "Pay" on the bottom right of the screen and it gives you the option for an email receipt. Your purchase is then complete!
