The term ‘Mental Health’ is one that we are all very aware of in this day and age. It means a lot to many people, while others may not have much knowledge about it. Mental Health covers a wide variety of conditions such as:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Schizophrenia
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

To name a few!

This campaign is called ‘Step Forward Together’ and our aim is not only to educate students on different Mental Health conditions, but to break the stigma that surrounds them. Raising awareness of the difficulties people face will hopefully encourage students to feel confident in speaking up if they are struggling. It will also help students in supporting friends, family and peers who may have a Mental Health condition.

We have lots planned for the week!
