Say hi to Javorne, Shalom, Ed and Dru – these friendly faces are your Students’ Union Reps (SU Reps) on Lampeter Campus, and they have been hard at work helping us make your campus experience the best it can be.

What are the SU Reps? 

The SU Reps are a perfect go-between for our Students on Lampeter campus, The Students’ Union and the University, they meet up and chat with you and pass on any points you want to raise.

What have they done so far? 

So far the SU Reps have been busy working away at gathering your opinions, feedback and requests and bringing them up in meetings with The Students’ Union and the University and ultimately helping make changes to improve your university experience. 

There have been drop-in sessions, meetings with Gwilym Dyfri Jones (Carmarthen and Lampeter Provost) and event planning – to bring you more experiences to campus. 

You might have seen or joined us at our amazing trips to Hay on Wye or Aberystwyth, or even stayed cosy on campus at our movie nights – these events have been a hit on campus, with our trips being sold out and students coming together to enjoy campus life. 

It has been wonderful to see the amazing impact our SU Reps have been having. Dru (an SU Rep) has even been able to share her ideas and experiences with members of other Student Unions at the NUS Wales Conference – and learned a lot from others there too.

What can we look forward to?

Their work continues, using your feedback, your voices and making changes the way you want to see it.
