We’ve been working with Jake Mcgrath, Lampeter Campus' Sustainability Part-time officer to bring you a schedule of green-themed events. Check out the full line-up below: 

 

Monday 10th 

Go Green Week Plant Fair

10am – 2pm • Students’ Union Building

Head over to the SU where we will have a Pop-Up Plant Shop by Green Elephant, as well as demonstrations on how to make plant pots and hangers out of recycled material. Green Elephant Plants Facebook Page

 

Tuesday 11th

Green Bar 

8pm+ • Old Bar and Xtention

Join us for an eco-themed quiz for Go Green Week 2020. 
Special rewards for anyone who hands in an eco-brick. What’s an Eco Brick? Come down and find out in our workshop. You can also learn more about them here www.ecobricks.org

 

Wednesday 12th 

Student Switch Off

From 1 pm

We will be switching off all electrical items, including lights, in the Students’ Union Building from 1-2pm to raise awareness of how much energy we use. Join us and turn off all your unnecessary appliances too!

 

Saturday 22nd

Longwood Tree Plant
