Limited spaces available for our next Big Plant Event - sign up now!

Thursday 14-11-2019 - 14:52

The Big Plant was started back in 2017 by a group of Swansea students (TSD Environment Society) who secured a site at RSPCA Llys Nini Animal Centre in Penllergaer. Since then it’s been one of our favourite annual events, even spreading to another site (Cynefin site in Johnstown, Carmarthen).

By now UWTSD students have planted well over 1,000 trees, but we’re not ready to stop there!

We’re on the search for 30 volunteers to help our next Big Plant Project. This time we’re heading to The National Botanic Gardens of Wales to help their Regency Restoration Project, creating dormouse habitats and contributing to the historic restoration at the site.

We have limited spaces on the event, just 30! So please sign up quick to avoid disappointment. Equipment, lunch and transport will be provided by us; all you need is to bring yourself and some appropriate clothing and footwear.
