We all need a helping hand from time to time. Your SU is here to make sure you get the best advice; we'll help you with issues around your studies and point you in the right direction for help around housing, health and finance.
In 2019/20, we supported over 200 students with academic advice.
University is an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. We're committed to providing a safe space for people to be themselves and celebrate our diversity. We also offer support for students as they set up groups, clubs and societies.

UWTSD Students have planted over 1000 trees in the Big Plant Project.
UWTSD Students raised over £8,500 for Cardiac Risk in the Young, in memory of fellow student Dominic Newton.
£50,000 for better mental health at UWTSD.
UWTSD Students volunteered 1267 hours in RAG Month 2018.
