Manifesto Tips ‘n Tricks
We know writing a manifesto can be difficult so we’ve put together a few tips n tricks to help you write yours and tell students why you should be the one of the next Student Unions officer. Good luck and remember your nomination needs to be in by 12pm on Friday 2nd Feb.
Manifestio Tips #1
Use clear language: Avoid overly long, complicated words – you won’t win any awards for being clever and you might alienate some of your voters.
Manifestio Tips #2
Set your Goals: Think about what do you want to achieve during your time in office. Are your goals realistic and achievable? Are they supported by the students? These are all important things to consider.
Manifestio Tips #3
It’s all about you: Your manifestio is all about you and your ideas, be sure to include a photo of yourself and talk about your experiences.

Be Creative: Show off your personality and give people something to remember, be clever with your manifesto and it’s design.

Proof Read, Proof Read, Proof Read: This is so important, you may want to get a friend or family member to have a look too.
