🎁 That's a wrap.

We've allocated all our children for this year - thanks to everyone for spreading the festive joy. Remember you need to get your present to us by Friday 27th November. Check your Mr X confirmation email for your drop off point.

Any questions, contact Laura: laura-cait.driscoll@uwtsd.ac.uk.

The Mr X Appeal is back! For many years, the staff and students have worked together to donate gifts to the Mr X Christmas appeal for under-privileged children all across South Wales. The Mr X Team work closely with childcare agencies across the region, and they have put together a list of children who are from families that need that little bit of extra support and some Christmas spirit this year!

This year we will be doing things a little differently due to the Coronavirus restrictions. By signing up and getting involved you will be helping a child who may have otherwise gone without this Christmas. Whereas we would usually fill our trees with tags and fill the offices with the donated gifts, this year we have a new plan; we would like your help and would love for you to spread some Christmas cheer and get involved!

Thanks, and Merry Christmas! If you would like to know more about this campaign or would like to volunteer to help out on this project, please get in touch. We hope as many of you as possible get involved, and make a child’s Christmas!

We have set up a step by step guide, so you know exactly what to do!

Mr X Appeal 2020

Sign Up Now

Step 1.

Sign up and fill out the form above and we'll match you with as many children as you're happy to buy a gift for. We'll let you know their name, gender and age, so you can pick out a suitable gift.

Not sure what to buy? We have some inspiration boards ready and waiting for you; check them out here!

Step 2.

Go shopping! Use online shopping services (such as Amazon or independent businesses on Etsy) to purchase a gift and send it directly to the address we provide. We need to receive packages by Friday 27th November so make sure to check delivery estimates and send with plenty of time to spare.

Step 3.

The rest is up to us! How easy is that? We'll get your gifts to Mr X volunteers who check, sort and deliver your gifts to children across South Wales.

If you still have questions, here are some of our frequently asked questions! If these don’t answer any questions you may have please email me at georgia.thomas@uwtsd.ac.uk or message me on my Facebook: Georgia Thomas Pres. You can also contact the union team at union@uwtsd.ac.uk.
