The Lemonade Stand

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" or in other words, make something good out of every situation - that's what Gwyneira, your Birmingham and London President, is trying to do with the Lemon Tree Campaign. Take it away Gwyneira!

"Hi this is your Birmingham and London campus president, and I'm super excited to talk with all of you about your journey with us so far! Come and get involved in my pop up event I call " The lemonade stand" This pop up is an opportunity for you as students to come join me at the lemonade stand to talk to me about your student experience so far, where you would like to see it go in future months to come and also to share any feedback from events you may want to see, critical feedback on your academic journey, Concerns and Any questions around what it is like being a student overall.

What do you do when life gives you lemons? Make Lemonade! Grab a yellow lemon card, write your thoughts, pop it in the lemon basket, and get your free lemonade!"

- Gwyneira Davies

This campaign is all about turning student voices into real, positive change. Our university community thrives when students' feedback is heard and acted upon. We’re inviting you to share your honest experience and feedback, so we can understand what really matters to you as a student and help us turn that into positive action.

We're proudly student-led - meaning students help shape our work, whether that’s lobbying the university, lobbying MPs, or creating new experiences, groups, and activities that students actually want, all with the aim to improve campus life. And this campaign is one way that we can do that.
