Event: Drop-in Art Workshop (Cardiff)
Where: Reception Area, Hayward House
When: Monday the 11th of May
Time: Drop by between 12pm and 3pm
Your Cardiff and Swansea President Rainna is coming to the end of her term in office at the Students’ Union.
Rainna has done a few Make and Mingle sessions with you, all intended as an opportunity to bring students together, to share culture, celebrations and spread awareness.
For her last Make and Mingle in Cardiff, Rainna will be running her session to support Mental Health Awareness Week.
Take a break and enjoy a relaxed lunchtime escape at our drop-in art session on the 11th of May. This informal event offers students a calm and welcoming space to unwind, get creative, and take a pause from the pressures of the day.
Art can be a powerful way to support mental health and wellbeing, helping people slow down, express emotions, and clear their minds. This session encourages students to explore creativity as a positive outlet—whether that’s through colour, patterns, or simply taking a mindful moment to focus on making something.
We look forward to welcoming you on the day and hopefully having some mindful time together.
Your wellbeing matters. If you need support, the Students' Union Advice team is here to help—visit the Advice page to learn more about the support available.
You can also contact the University's HWB team or check out the Student Services page. If you’re worried about yourself or someone else, please remember you can submit a CFC form to request support.
