Come and join us to celebrate Chinese New Year with a creative cultural event exploring traditional Chinese arts.
Students will have the opportunity to write the character “Fu” (福)—a symbol of good fortune—using Chinese calligraphy. In Chinese tradition, the “Fu” character is displayed on doors or windows during the New Year to invite luck and blessings into the home.
As the coming year is the Year of the Horse, the event will also highlight themes of energy, vitality, and new beginnings. In addition, students can paint decorative paper fans using traditional Chinese painting techniques.
This relaxed, hands-on experience is open to everyone, and no artistic background is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
