Movie Night: The Help (Lampeter)
For Black History Month we are showing The Help. The Help is an accessible way of starting a conversation and discussion on colonialism and its continued effects in modern society and storytelling. This is in line with the Reclaiming Narratives theme of the month this year. The Help addresses social and cultural issues by blending action with wider themes such as national identity, global politics and independence.
