Event: Valentine's Card Printing
Where: SU Snug, Dylan Thomas Centre
When: Tuesday 10th of February
Time: 16:00 - 19:00
Cost: Free
Join us for a relaxed and creative Valentine’s Card Printing Workshop, where you’ll learn the art of block printing—a traditional textile and paper printing method that originated in China and later became popular in India.
This workshop will be hosted by one of our very own students, Simeon, who runs this creative business alongside their studies. Participants will have the opportunity to design and carve their own printing blocks or use pre-made ones, then create personalised Valentine’s cards for a friend, family member, loved one, or special someone.
Each attendee can make up to three cards, personalise them using letter stamps, and take their stamp home to continue creating.
To create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, music will be playing throughout the evening, and chocolates will be available alongside prosecco and a non-alcoholic alternative. The emphasis will be on having fun, getting creative, relaxing, and getting to know fellow students.
No previous experience is needed—just come along and enjoy trying something new.
