Did you know that hospitals in Wales require 350 donations a day to support patients in need? Giving blood is quick, simple and entirely safe. And the best part is, you're saving a life!

Who can donate blood?
The Welsh Blood Service encourage and welcome most adults to give blood. There are some reasons people can't give blood, but not as many as you might think! Anyone who fits in the criteria below may be able to give blood:
If you are:
- Between the age of 17 and 66 (for your first donation)
- Weigh over 7 stone 12 pounds (50kg)
- Healthy and not subject to medical exclusions

Ticketed Event
Some events have limited spaces. If a Book Now button appears within the description you must register before you can attend. For these events please only book if you know you can make it. You can also let us know if you can’t attend so we can offer your space to someone else.
Refunds
Event tickets and booking fees are non-refundable, unless;
- You give us at least ten working days notice
- We postpone or cancel the event.
- Or the event has been changed significantly from the original advertisement.

Photography & Video
Photographs and videos may be taken at our events. By booking on to our event, you grant us (UWTSD Students’ Union) full rights to use the resulting images. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know by getting in touch or speaking with the on-site photographer.
