President - Suzanna Borowiec

Hi! My name is Suzanna, the president of the Film Society.

I am currently a BA Photography student.

My interests lie in philosophy, radical feminism and Eastern Europe, which impacts the types of Cinema I am drawn to.

Although my list of faves is long, some of my favourite films are : The Piano Teacher (2001), Crash (1996), On the Silver Globe (1988), Romance X (1999), Breaking the Waves (1996) and Climax (2018). 

A few of my favourite directors are : Andrzej Zulawski, Kurt Kren, Andrei Tarkovsky, Lars Von Trier, Michael Haneke, Krzysztof Kieslowski and Catherine Breillat. 

My aim for this society is to bring people of similar tastes together as well as introduce films not as widely known to a new crowd!
