Welcome to UWTSD Swansea Karting Society

This is UWTSD Swansea Karting Society.

Whether you are an experienced driver or just looking to be involved in a motorsport focused group, in this society you will have a chance to race alongside other members within an environment which allows you to grow your karting ability.

We run regular social events around Swansea, Karting Events, In Person and Online Sim racing events and F1 watch parties.

Karting Standard Membership - £30

Karting Associate Membership - £35

Social Membership - £10

Why Should I join?

Be Involved: We will compete within the British University Karting Championship (BUKC) against other universities around the UK and visit local indoor tracks to improve race skills with other teammates. Within our society we aim to include everyone creating a like-minded group.

Exciting Events: We will attend the British University Karting Championship; Races, Qualifiers and Test days as well as the opportunity to compete in the 24-hour race.

Regular Socials: We will run regular pub socials and watch parties for the Formula 1 and have the opportunity to spectate real racing events (ELMS, BTCC, British GT). In addition, we will visit a sim racing shop to race as a group as well as online races on games like F1 etc.

Schedule of events

These are events we would like to do (some events will be free, some discounted using membership money, but for some individual contribution will be required)

•    BUKC Events (Main Championship, 24 Hour, Qualifiers, BUKC and Club 100 Test Days)
•    Rental karting at local tracks
•    Social Events and Watch Parties
•    Online and in person simulator races
•    Attending real life race events (ELMS, BTCC, British GT)
