For Final year student to run for PTO roles

We have spoken to the student who submitted the idea and discussed how those in their cannot run for PTO positions.
Students in their final year cannot run for PTO positions due to the fact that they will not hold student status in the next academic year; this is within our bye laws as only current students can be members of the students' union.
The submitter understood this and was happy for the idea not to go to council as it cannot be enacted.
i am prosping an update so that final year student are not force to run for student prez or sabbal roles... my prosseal is that studdent can run for PTO roles no matter thier year ... i hjave personal be "screwed by this twice" as i would of gladly run for a pto role instead of sabb role
