I have asked staff around the SA1 Campus as to whether or not there is any recreational areas around campus. Unfortunately there isn't, in the mount pleasent campus a pool table and television could be found in the cafeteria which was always used when lectures weren't in session. I am submitting this idea as the same facilities should be included down on SA1 being a new campus and all that, there are a lot of students waiting for 2+ hours for their next lecture and have nothing to do while they wait. I know from personal experience and from my fellow students that it is currently much more appealing to catch the train home and miss a 2 hour lecture than to wait 3 hours with nothing to do.
