It’s been a term – with information coming at you from every angle – and it may have left your head in a whiz.  

We want to reassure you of our commitment to representing you. Below is a recap of the things we’ve done and the things we’ve planned.  

We hope you have a peaceful few weeks over the Winter Break – using the time to do the things you love. 

 

What we’ve been doing 

1. We were right alongside you from the get-go – offering you support, gathering your thoughts, asking questions to the university, and representing YOU! 
2. We created the Future of Lampeter webpage so students can get all the facts and see what we – you Students’ Union – are up to, all in one place. 
3. We’ve published our first instalment of Lampeter Students Speak on Instagram – where students tell us why they chose Lampeter. 
4. We responded to inquiries from local and national press. 
5. We facilitated student organising workshops, skills development sessions, and a campaigning boot camp for our students. 

 

Next steps after the Winter Break 

1. Rhobyn will publish a new president update. 
2. We’ll be publishing part two of our Lampeter Students Speak – a video series of student interviews on our Instagram.  
3. We’ll continue to publish updates to make sure you are aware of developments and what we’re doing to represent you. 

 

Winter Break Reminder 

A gentle reminder that due to university closure days and staff annual leave, our Lampeter Office is closed from Friday 20th December 2024 and reopens on Monday 13th January 2025. Read our Winter Break 2024 blog post for more info.
