The Mr X Appeal is back and ready to bring some festive cheer to hundreds of children across South Wales. For those out of the loop, the Mr X Appeal, with your help, provides presents for children on Christmas. The team at MR X work with childcare agencies across the region and put together a list of children from families that need a bit of support.

We ask University staff and students to pair up with a specific child and donate a suitable gift to them. If you’d like to make a child’s Christmas more magical, then visit your SU office or Pop Up Union, and pick up a name tag. The name tag has all you need to know; a name, an age and sometimes a clue to the child’s interests. Your gift doesn’t need to break the bank, and you aren’t solely responsible for providing your matched child a gift, so don’t worry if something happens which means you can’t commit. Make sure to bring your gift to the SU office or one of the campus collection points before the 4th December and the team behind the Mr X appeal will do the rest. Thanks, and Merry Christmas! 1. Pick up a name tag. 

You can get a name tag from the Students' Union office, Pop-Up SU or select Reception Desks.

2. Buy a gift

Use the information on the name tag to find a suitable gift. If you're stuck for ideas, we have put together a gift with some great ideas.

3. Drop off your gift

Please drop off your gift at one of the following locations by 3 December:

• Carmarthen SU Office
• Lampeter SU Office
• Swansea SU Office
• Reception at Dynevor
• Reception at Business School
• Reception at IQ Building
