We are delighted to announce we have worked with the University to extend your access to Office 365 after you graduate from 3 months to 1 year!

The first year after graduation can feel like diving headfirst into a very deep pool! Whether it's looking for a job in your chosen field or going into further education you'll likely have application forms, presentations and interviews to deal with. We want to make sure to give you the tools you need.

The original offering gave you access to Microsoft 365 for 3 months after you graduate, designed to cover the time between Undergraduate study and potential postgraduate study (if a masters degree is for you!).

Now, this access has quadrupled, giving you access to key applications like Word and PowerPoint for an entire year!

Are you graduating this summer? Or looking to plan your next steps?

The University also has a number of different resources available to all UWTSD Students and graduates on an online careers platform (It includes resources for self-assessment, career planning, CV’s and interviews and much more.

Make sure to check out Abintegro, a platform that provides a bunch of resources from support CVs, interview prep, to even sessions on self-awareness and more.

The Careers team are also on hand to help you with every step of this process through query support and 1-2-1 sessions that cover everything from planning, finding placements and honing your CV. You can check out what they are offering here.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the student who put this idea forward into our Big Ideas process, it was a wonderful idea that I couldn’t wait to work on, so we got a head start!

Do you have an idea that would benefit students across UWTSD?

If the answer is yes, check out our Big Ideas portal, a place to submit and vote on student ideas.

We also update the page regularly to let you know what ideas have been passed by your Councils or are being worked on at the moment.
