Scran & Sip Workshops 🍳 🍹

Ready to level up your student kitchen game and learn how to mix a drink that slaps? We’ve teamed up with one of UWTSD’s most exciting newly established courses — International Gastronomy Management — to bring you a hands-on workshop all about making your uni meals smarter, tastier, and more affordable.

Join us on Friday 26th September at Vivian Hall, Dylan Thomas Centre, and book onto one of two sessions

Pick the time that works for you — both sessions are packed with flavour and fun.

During the workshop, you’ll team up with Gastronomy staff and first-class students who have experienced the course to prep and cook a budget-friendly, batch-cook meal that’s perfect for saving money and time throughout the week. Then, head over to our drinks station to create your own cocktail or mocktail — and yes, you’ll get to taste both your food and your drink!

This is a fun and practical way to build confidence in the kitchen, enjoy some great bites and sips, and meet fellow students in a relaxed, welcoming space.

Spaces are limited and booking is essential. Please let us know about any dietary requirements or allergens through the booking questionnaire so we can adapt the session to suit you.

Important Information

• The Vivian Hall is located on the first floor of the Dylan Thomas Centre, you can access this by stairs or lift. For this event time you will be able to enter the Dylan Thomas Centre through the front doors of the museum. 
• You are responsible for listening to what is in the food and drink you are making and consuming, we are asking for your dietary and allergen requirement beforehand to try and make the event better catered to your needs but also to reduce the risk of anyone becoming ill or having an allergic reaction. 
• Please bring ID as proof of age just in case staff need to check before you create or consume alcoholic drinks.
• You must book in order to attend and you must arrive on time or you may miss out and will not be refunded.
