New to UWTSD? Come discover where your Students’ Union is and get comfy in the SU Snug – your very own social space on campus! Whether you're looking to meet friendly faces, get your bearings, or just enjoy a quiet brew, we’ve got you covered.
Drop by for a relaxed session with free tea, coffee and biscuits, and meet some of the SU team who’ll be around to answer any questions you may have ahead of Freshers Week. No pressure, no presentations – just a warm space to chill, chat, and get to know the SU.
We’ll show you how to access the SU and get you feeling at home in no time. See you there! 💜
Note: The Dylan Thomas Centre will be open, so you can enter the building through the front and come to the back of the building where you will find the Students' Union.

Ticketed Event
Some events have limited spaces. If a Book Now button appears within the description you must register before you can attend. For these events please only book if you know you can make it. You can also let us know if you can’t attend so we can offer your space to someone else.
Refunds
Event tickets and booking fees are non-refundable, unless;
- You give us at least ten working days notice
- We postpone or cancel the event.
- Or the event has been changed significantly from the original advertisement.

Photography & Video
Photographs and videos may be taken at our events. By booking on to our event, you grant us (UWTSD Students’ Union) full rights to use the resulting images. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know by getting in touch or speaking with the on-site photographer.
