Welcome to Debating Society!

Welcome to Debating Society in Lampeter, where formal debates can happen in a controlled and safe environment. All our debates are peaceful and friendly. We believe that intellectual conversations can happen without the need to resort to insults and name calling. Our society is about intelligent debate, not mindless arguing .

Past debate topics have included:

“Does social media make us more interconnected or disconnected”

“Can patriotism exist in modern society”
