So, you want to run a student group activity but need some where to host it? Here’s your ultimate step-by-step guide to securing your group a termly room booking or just a one of room booking! 

1. Recurring Room Booking 📝 

✅ Know Your Vibe: What’s the goal? A chill hangout? A hands-on experience? A full-on showstopper? Define the experience you want to create and ask Members what they would like to experience!  
✅ Pick the Perfect Spot: Have a think about what you need in that space to deliver the vibe. Do you need a larger space, or do you want a cosier vibe?  Maybe you need tables to run the activity or possibly a projector. We need to know the requirements you have to help you have the best time! 
✅ Set the Date & Time: Avoid lecture clashes and major student events. Lunchtimes and evenings usually work best. 
✅ Complete the Form: Let us know all of the above information we will then work with the university to help get you the best space on campus to suit your groups requirements! Student Group Room Bookings 

✅ Wait for confirmation: When the campus SOC had sorted your booking we will then reach out to you with a confirmed date, time and location of the booking. Please note your room booking is not finalised until we have confirmed the booking! 

2. One of Room Bookings 🚀

We need to know the requirements you have to help you have the best time so don't worry if this space may need to look different to the normal space the groups use! 
✅ Set the Date & Time: Avoid lecture clashes and major student events. Lunchtimes and evenings usually work best. 
✅ Let us know: Let us know all of the above information through email (su.opps@uwtsd.ac.uk) and we will then work with the university to help get you the best space on campus to suit your groups requirements!  We need to know this information with a minimum of two weeks' notice prior to the event so we can work with the universities room booking process.  

✅ Wait for confirmation: When the campus SOC had sorted your booking we will then reach out to you with a confirmed date, time and location of the booking. Please note your room booking is not finalised until we have confirmed the booking!
