Students lead the Students' Union, and our Spring Election gives you the chance to run for one of our leadership roles, and vote for who you think is right for the job.
And after everything 2020 has thrown at us, it's more important than ever that students get heard!
There are loads of roles available, both part-time and full-time (and some are paid too). Nominations are open now and close on Tuesday 23 March 2021 at 11am.
We know, running a club right now is tricky, with lockdowns coming-and-going, the old way of doing things just won't cut it.
But there's good news, we've opened up our grant applications to help all our clubs, societies and groups.
What does this mean? We'll contribute money to your good ideas. Complete our grant application form, and if successful, some funds will be on their way to you. We want to hear all about your ideas, how much it'll cost, and why you want to do it.
We are a student-led organisation, and you have the opportunity to shape our priorities. We run Campus Councils to give you the chance to share your ideas, ask questions, discuss policy, suggest events, and meet your representatives and Union team.
Join us online; head to our website to confirm your spot.
Your feedback contributes to a report that goes straight to University management. We want to know about your thoughts on on-campus and online learning.
We are working with the charity Brook to empower young people to have happy, healthy relationships. We'll be running a series of online seminars (webinar) around all aspects of sexual health. The first webinar is about Consent and Healthy Relationships, and takes place on Wednesday 27 January at 3:45pm.
And we'd like to wrap things up by saying a big hello to our new Birmingham students. Don't forget to join us online at our Welcome meet-ups.
